In 2009 we will see supernatural increases of the gift of tongues and the birthing of gifts of faith. Both of these gifts will be used to build up the Church. The Church is destined to be the head and not the tail. GOD is sending a great increase of praying in the Spirit.
Paul said, "I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all..." 1 Corinthians 14:18. (Paul did indeed speak with tongues.) Jude says, "But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost..." Jude 1:20
The measure of our faith will determine how much we believe in our prayers. "O Lord, help my unbelief" has been a prayer, BUT now a prayer will be, "Holy Spirit, tell me what I need to pray!" Yes, we will be calling on HOLY SPIRIT to make intercession through us. Then our faith will and can be lifted to a measure to get the tasks done.
GOD is in the Finishing Business
We have been seeing in media reports and amongst our own the very Scripture:
"For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, saying, 'This man began to build, and was not able to finish.'" Luke 14:28-30
"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the Cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." Hebrews 12:2
Not only is HE ABLE TO FINISH, BUT SO ARE WE!
"Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ..." Philippians 1:6
"We must pray in HOLY SPIRIT more than ever," says the Lord. This will build a confidence that cannot be shaken! Praying in Holy Spirit will build up a faith that cannot be reckoned with. "YOU will NOT be shaken," says the Lord.
First Love
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven." Matthew 5:16
The extremeness of the Lord's desire is for the Church to get back to its first love. Remember when you wanted to pray all night long? It is coming back!
"And hast borne, and hast patience, and for My name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent." Revelation 2:3-5
GOD is calling us to rebuild and to restore and to reclaim and to redo again!

2009 will be an adventure for the spirit-filled. "For in your prayer time you will see many supernatural things."
• Vision will increase.
• The gift of tongues will come forth - diverse tongues and interpretations of tongues.
• The faith level will rise, giving birth to a faith movement that will shake the very nation and denominations. Yes, even those who have the gifts of faith will come forth. Wait and see, for the Spirit will take hold in many mainstream churches where HE has not been allowed in times past, but this will change in 2009. He will visit many tabernacles and will engulf them in power and faith that leads to more power to overcome BY FAITH!
• Deliverances of addiction will come forth! Healings will come forth and salvations will be a huge cry by the end of the year.
"AND MANY WILL BE SAVED, SAYS THE LORD. For the Church will take time to prepare for this moment 'a crowning moment,'" says the Lord.
A Season of Preparation
Spikenard to be Applied for Resurrection Glory: A short season of preparation will take place. Many will soak (i.e. bathe their spirits) in the Books of Esther and Song of Solomon.
"The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD." Proverbs 16:1
The Foot Armor to be Applied: "And your feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of peace..." Ephesians 6:15
We must prepare to be in HIS presence, to do as He sees HIS Father do.
"And the maiden pleased him, and she obtained kindness of him; and he speedily gave her things for purification, with such things as belonged to her, and seven maidens, which were meet to be given her, out of the king's house: and he preferred her and her maids unto the best place of the house of the women." Esther 2:9
Esther brought peace to the King. Her heart was for HIS will, so she might fulfill her purpose to SAVE her people - HIS PEOPLE. Because of preparation the NATION was saved, the nation of her people! The Lord is pleased by faith. He is willing to send us help to get us what needs to be accomplished.
We are entering a new season of HOLY ANOINTED PREPARATION. Do you have anointing oil? Apply it daily and watch yourself change. "He poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron's head and anointed him to consecrate him"(Leviticus 8:12).
Then our feet will be anointed with spikenard ointment so we become ready for our resurrected spirit. It will be an aroma of GLORY to the King who is summing the Church to Global Harvest!
How Does This All Work?
1. Anoint yourself.
2. Pray in tongues, building up your most holy faith.
3. Receive what HE shows you in that secret place.
4. Prepare your heart, mind, and body to obtain peace and walk in it.
There where you prayed - you are purified in your Spirit BECAUSE YOU PRAYED IN THE SPIRIT AND YOUR FAITH WAS ESTABLISHED!
5. Gather around you like-minded people who will also help you.
Jesus did nothing except He saw His Father do it, "Then answered Jesus and said unto them, 'Verily, verily, I say unto you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He seeth the Father do: for what things soever He doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.'" John 5:19
It is by the Spirit we SEE.
Pray in the Spirit and See
"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints." Ephesians 6:18
