Get Your Dreams Interpreted Always Biblically!
*DREAMS INTERPRETATION ( Spiritual dreams )*
*Jeremiah 33:3* says, "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. "
*Job 33:14-15* says, "For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed."
1. *PERSON WHO PASSED AWAY TAKES SOMETHING FROM YOU*
Means there is a spiritual link that you need to break. The enemy is using that link as a conduct to siphon your virtues and blessings. If the person is your relative, it means you have ancestral evil linkages to deal with. You can pray "I recover my virtues from the land of the dead, and i cut every ancestral evil linkage with the sword of the Lord in the name of Jesus." Pray & Fast for 3 days to collect whatever they are stolen from you. *(PS 91, Ps 27 )*
2. *SNAKES OR MASQUERADE CHASING YOU*
Means that witchcraft spirits are after you. They want to hinder you from progressing and achieve greatness. Bind every spirit of witchcraft, serpent and release the fire of the Lord to burn them to ashes in Jesus' Name. And learn to be sensitive to what's going on in your enviroment. Pray & Fast for 3 days *(using Leg 19:31, Micah 5:11-12, Ps 34:4 )*
3. *SCORPION ATTACKING YOU*
Means that you are up against very wicked and aggressive enemies of your father's house or mother's house. They will stop at nothing to destroy you. Rise up and declare war against visible and invisible enemies. Pray like this. "Thunder of God, scatter every satanic power assigned against my life in the Name of Jesus." pray and fast for 3 days *(using Luke 10:19,Eph 6:11-12)*
4. *LOST YOUR CLOTHES AND NOT BE ABLE TO FIND THEM*
It means spiritual robbers are working against your promotion and favour, and the end result is shame and demotion, unless you take action now. When you wake up, send the angels of God on assignment to recover what you've lost. Ask the Holy Spirit to arrest those responsible. Ask for the garment of honor and glory from the Lord.Pray & Fast for 3 days *(using Joel 2:25, Ps 132:16 )*
5. *WALKING AROUND BAREFOOT*
Means shame, demotion and hardship. Pray and destroy the powers assigned to monitor your life and report back to your enemies. Bind the spirits of shame and poverty. Release the fire of God against them. Cover yourself with the blood of Jesus. *(Pray & fast for 3 days )*
6. *SEEING YOURSELF FLYING*
Means you have initiated into witchcraft, whether or not you know it or not, whether you've agreed to it or not. Some people inherit this wicked spirit from their parents and have no idea that they are blind witches. The solution is to look for an anointed Christian ministry that understand how to set people free from this type of thing. Five minute prayers will not be enough to do a thorough job here. As Jesus said, "this kind goeth not but by prayer and fasting." It is a stubborn spirit.
7. *SEEING BIRDS FOLLOWING YOU*
Means you are being monitored. Especially if it is a black bird, vulture or owl. You are being observed and monitored for evil. If care is not taken, it may result to terrible sickness and untimely death. You pray "Every evil observer of my glory , be roasted by the fire of God, in Jesus Name". If you are not familiar with what it means to be roasted, you need to take a reading tour of Jeremiah. He used to pray certain enemies should be roasted. Meaning the fire of God should burn them to ashes. Remember, the Bible says that God is a consuming fire. See where that came from.
8. *FALLING INTO A PIT*
Means you are on a journey to spiritual slavery and captivity. This is where everything you do result to nothing. Though you might be walking around in the physical free, if you see yourself in a pit in the dream, you have already been sold into slavery. And those responsible are those who are close to you. Maybe members of your family, either living or dead, or workplace enemies posing as friends. Or even church members. Remember Joseph in the bible. Remember the prophet Jeremiah. In both cases, it was envy and jealousy at work. They were both cast into the pit. You pray: " O Lord, send your angelic hosts to rescue me from the pit in Jesus name". Then you begin to declare like David in *Psalm 40:2.* He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock and established my goings".
9. *GOING BACK TO THE OLD HOUSE*
You lived in as a child means the spirits of powers of backwardness operating in your family line is trying to cut short your progress and place a spiritual curse on your life. If you don't stand against this through prayer and fasting, you might soon find yourself making negative or backward progress, being passed over for promotion at work, losing favor with friends and family, making silly mistakes that annoy your boss at work and can get you fired etc.... You pray: " Every altar of backwardness in my fathers house, collapse in the Name of Jesus". Then you quickly follow up with this one: " Let the habitation of humiliation and demotion be battered, shattered and swallowed up the power of God, in Jesus Name".
10. *PICKING UP COINS OR MONEY*
Means you are under attack by the spirits of poverty and debt. Please note that this is a stubborn generational spirit that is usually transferred from person to person, from one generation to another. You pray like this: "I bind the spirits of lack and poverty in my foundation. I break the backbone of lack and scarcity in my life in the Name of Jesus. Let the chapter of lack and want be closed forever in Jesus mighty Name".
11. *SEEING YOURSELF BEING BURIED*
Means the spirit of death and hell is after you. Use the scripture in *Revelation 12:11* then begin to pray like this: "The anger of God shall write the obituary of all my oppressors in the Name of Jesus". Again this is a midnight prayer.
12. *LOSS OF HAIR OR CUTTING OF HAIR*
Losing your hair in the dream means a loss of glory and honor. if somebody cuts your hair in the dream, the enemy is sucking away your spiritual strength. And if you fail to take immediate action in the spirit, it will soon lead to other losses, disgrace and slavery. To a woman, it brings setback on your marriage and make men bot to be interested in you. Remember Samson and how he was captured by his enemies. It began with the loss of his hair.
13. *BEGGING*
If you see yourself as a beggar or begging, the curse of poverty is on your life. You need to break that curse, destroy both the roots and the fruits in your life, and return arrows of poverty back to wherever they came from. Then use scripture in *Psalm 84:11* to ask for a release of good things and abundance into your life.
14. *ALWAYS SITTING FOR EXAMINATIONS*
And not able to complete before waking up indicates obstacles on your way of progress. A spirit of failure and stagnancy at work.
15. *DREAM OF DEATH*
You should rise up and begin to cancel every ordinance of death and hell against your life and your loved ones. At times the death might just be targeted as certain areas of your life, eg. marriage, finances or even certain organs of the body. In any case, spiritual violence is required.......in order to terminate the assignment of death against you.
16. *SEEING ANIMALS IN YOUR DREAM*
To see animals in your dream generally gives you a clue to the spiritual challenges coming against you. My advice is you look closely at the characteristics of such animals in the physical and you'll have a pretty good idea what's going on in the spirit. For instance, serpents mean that you are under attack by wickedly intelligent spirits, highly poisonous with an agenda to steal, kill and destroy. Dogs represent sexual demons and if they bite you in the dream, they will introduce the demons of lust and sexual perversion into your life. Have you ever heard some Christians who fall into fornication at the drop of a hat, saying they don't know what got into them? They are under the power of the dog
17. *DREAMS HAVING TO DO WITH ABORTION*
Means your virtues (God-given endowments) are being withdrawn from your life by wicked powers. This is the area the child will cry against your pregnancy. As a result of an evil cry against you in the spirit.
18. *DREAMS OF EATING*
Means that your spirit man is very dull and weak, and is not strong enough to withstand satanic activities against you. In fact, they could even feed you with human flesh and blood in the dream this way, and by the time you wake up, you find yourself physically ill. This is a popular method of planting sickness and incurable diseases in the lives of people. To some, it is satanic bondage Jesus said: "While men slept, the enemy came and sowed tares". The tares include spiritual poison in the dream through food. You will need to vomit the evil consumption.....and then lash out with holy anger against evil caterers like this: "You evil caterers feeding me in the name, I command you to eat your own flesh and drink your own blood in the Name of Jesus". This is an advanced warfare prayer that has its basis in scripture, in case you are wondering. In the book of *Isaiah 49:25-26*. You now see how certain scriptures that are not taught a lot in most places could hold the key to your victory and deliverance from bad dreams, among other things.
19. *DREAMS OF BEING NAKED*
Means the enemy wants to disgrace you, period! if you are in a confrontation with someone in the physical realm, the person may want to disgrace you soon be wise. The scripture to apply here is *Isaiah 61:7*.
20. *DREAMS OF HAVING YOUR WEDDING DRESS STOLEN*
Its an advanced warning that the spirits of marriage destruction are working against you. You need to rise up aggressively and cancel their assignment. Then go on the offensive by summoning them together and releasing the judgment of the Lord against them. The Bible says, "What God has joined together, let not man put asunder". So far as you were married according to biblical principles, you can stand on this scripture to release all kinds of weapons from God's armory against them.
21. *DREAMS OF DOGS ATTACKING YOU*
Means sexual demons have been programmed into your life. You'll have to pray hard not to fall into sexual sins.
22. *DREAMS OF LOSING YOUR SHOES*
Is a sign of marital failure looming on the horizon. Better cancel it quickly and go on the offensive to recover your marriage from the hands of evil spiritual consultants.
23. *DREAMS OF NURSING OR BREASTFEEDING A STRANGE BABY*
Means your virtues are being spiritually withdrawn. You need to release the fire of God *(Hebrews 12:29 & Luke 12:49)*to burn the strange baby to ashes. Then you withdraw your virtues from the evil storehouse.
24. *DREAMS OF HAVING SEX*
Means you have a spirit spouse who will do everything in its power to destroy your earthly marriage, just to keep you for themselves. They sometime cause business failure, get anyone who comes close fired from work, and even arrange fatal accidents to eliminate all competition. People who have sex in the dream are "loaded" with all kinds of spiritual materials like serpents circulating in their body without their knowledge, unexplainable health problems, and routine failure and frustration. They find it really difficult to have conception and give birth. Many of them end up being barren....... and running from place to place for solutions. If they manage to get married, they find that the finances of the family disappear suddenly and mysteriously.
25. *DREAMS OF BEING CURSED*
Means a satanic embargo has been placed on your progress in life. Unless you break the curse and cancel its evil consequences, you might just find life suddenly becoming a HUGE burden, friends turning to enemies, those who should help refusing to help. and misfortune dogging your every step.
26. *DREAMS OF BEING ACCUSED IN COURT*

When you dream and find yourself under incarceration or bottled, police cell or in a cage i.e. where freedom of movement or will is prohibited. It indicates there is a serious hindrance presently in your life spiritually and physically. It also may indicate that your life is in danger in the hand of witches and wizards or your enemies. It may also indicate your progress is been hindered.
32. *GUN SHOT*
When in a dream, you are being shot with a gun by somebody but it couldn’t harm you, or it missed you, it means there was danger in your life but God delivered you, if you are shot and wounded, then it shows your life is presently in danger and you are somehow powerless or overcomed already. If someone is chasing you with gun, then it depicts danger looms around you.

Pray well to scatter any witchcraft plan against you.

When you dream and find yourself crying for joy, it is a good dream. it means something great is coming on your way but when you see yourself crying with grief and pain, it indicates devils plan to feed you with the bread of sorrow and mourning. reject it now. Handle this verse well. *(PS 30:5;John 16:20.)* Pray like this, any power planning to make you shed tears of sorrow shall die in Jesus name.
38. *FIGHTING OR RUNNING*
To fight in the dream means you have enemies who are planning to deal with you. Fighting in the dream indicates spiritual warfare. if you are able to fight and run away successfully, it is a sign of victory. if you are running away from your pursuers, it means deliverance from captivity. *( Pray and fast for 1 day using PS 70, Eph 6:11-12.)*

Dangers In Prophetic Ministry
5 Warning Signs That Prophetic Ministry Has Gone Awry
By Eddie L. Hyatt
Prophetic ministry has great potential for blessing and building up the people of God. But when abused and misused, it has the same potential to trouble and destroy. In order to derive the greatest benefit from prophetic ministry, we need both the guidelines of Scripture and the lessons from history to point the way.
The following information is drawn from a document written around 1560 by Obe Philips, a leader in the 16th-century Anabaptist movement that sought the restoration of New Testament Christianity. Philips was commissioned as an "apostle" in this movement, and he commissioned others to this "office." The document, entitled "Confessions," describes events in Europe in the 1530s. From this document I have delineated five warning signs from their experience that can help us avoid the tragic mistakes that produced such great suffering and distress for them.
Warning Sign #1
When prophecy is used to enhance the status of a movement and its leaders
1517-1537 was a very exciting time for many Christians in Europe. A great spiritual reformation was under way and many believed that God was restoring the church to its original purity and power. Many believed that out of this restoration would come a great revival and harvest that would usher in the coming of the Lord and the end of the age.
In the midst of this end-time, revival atmosphere, individuals began to arise proclaiming themselves to be special end-time apostles and prophets endowed by God with miraculous power to usher in His kingdom upon the Earth.
One of the most prominent of these "apostles" was Melchoir Hoffman, a powerful preacher and teacher who gained a large following. His status was further enhanced when a prophetess saw in a vision a large white swan, larger and more beautiful than all the others, swimming in a beautiful river. She claimed it was revealed to her that the swan was Hoffman and that he represented the fulfillment of God's promise in Mal. 4:5 to send Elijah before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
Biblical Insight: We must remember the words given to John by the creature at his side in Revelation 19:10. Overwhelmed at the sight of a vast heavenly host worshipping and praising God, John fell at the feet of his heavenly escort to worship him, who immediately stopped him and said, See that you do not do that. Worship God! For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus. And in John 16:13 Jesus said that when the Holy Spirit would come, He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is mine and declare it to you. Beware of anyone who uses prophecy to promote themselves, their ministry or their teaching. The Holy Spirit has come lift up Jesus and draw all humanity unto Him.
Warning Sign #2
When prophecy becomes the primary means for determining the will of God
Another individual prophesied that Hoffman would be imprisoned for six months in the city of Strasbourg and, after that, his ministry would spread over the whole world. Based on the prophecy, Hoffman moved to Strasbourg where he began to preach and teach throughout that city.
The first part of the prophecy was fulfilled when the Strasbourg authorities arrested Hoffman and had him imprisoned. Philips says that he entered the prison "willingly, cheerfully, and well comforted," convinced that the latter part of the prophecy would now soon come to pass.
While in prison, Hoffman wrote many letters which Philips says came every day describing "how his actions, his visions and revelations affected him." One individual prophesied that at the end of his six month imprisonment, Hoffman would depart Strasbourg with 144,000 true apostles endowed with such miraculous power that no one would be able to resist them. Elated with such prophetic predictions, Hoffman vowed that he would take no food other than bread and water until the time of his deliverance.
Six months passed, however, and he was not released. More time elapsed and he found it necessary to break his fast. Hoffman eventually died in prison, a very disillusioned man. Philips says;
Everything that he so boldly professed from the prophets and prophetesses, he, in the end, found it all falsehood and deception, in fact and in truth; and he was so deceived with all their visions, prophecies, commission, dreams, and Elijah role that my heart today feels pity for his on account of this distress of his soul.
Biblical Insight: It is clear from Scripture that personal prophecy is not for giving direction in life. There is not a single example of such in the New Testament. The only example of a personal prophecy giving direction is in Acts 21:4 where certain disciples,by the Spirit, told Paul, who was on his way to Jerusalem, not to go up to Jerusalem. What did Paul do? He ignored what they said and continued on to Jerusalem. Prophecy must confirm what we already know in our heart and Paul had already purposed in the Spirit to go to Jerusalem (Acts 19:21).
Warning Sign #3
When prophecy is preoccupied with images, numbers and symbols
Prophetic dreams and visions flourished in this movement. These dreams and visions predicted many remarkable things related to the establishing of God's kingdom and the destruction of the wicked. Much of this information was given in symbolic form which had to be interpreted by those who were "spiritual." Philips says,
One came dragging a wagon without wheels, another wagon had three wheels, one wagon had no shaft, some no horses, some no recognizable driver, some had but one leg, some were lepers and beggars, some wore a tunic or a cloak with a lappet of fur. All this they could interpret for the brethren in a spiritual sense
These prophecies, dreams and visions predicted remarkable successes for the people of God, including a super-empowerment of the Spirit by which they would be enabled to overcome the wicked and establish the kingdom of God in the earth. In his very moving account of these matters, Philips says,
Now when these teachings and consolation with all the fantasies, dreams, revelations and visions daily occurred among the brethren, there was no little joy and expectation among us, hoping all would be true and fulfilled, for we were all unsuspecting, innocent, simple, without guile or cunning, and were not aware of any false visions, prophets, and revelations.
Biblical Insight: In the New Testament God communicates very clearly and precisely to His people. When He spoke to Ananias in a vision about going and praying for Paul, God gave him precise instructions (Acts 9:10-12). He told Ananias the name of the man he was to pray for, the name of the man in whose house Paul was staying and the precise street address. When God does speak in a symbol or image, it is for the purpose of communicating a more clear and vivid message. It is never done as a riddle that must be searched out and solved. God wants to communicate clearly with His children.
Warning Sign #4
When those prophesying are not open to testing and/or correction
During this time, two new apostles arrived in Philips' home town of Leeuwarden. They declared that they had been commissioned to the apostolic office with such signs, miracles and workings of the Spirit that words failed them to describe it. They also declared that, "In a short time God would rid the earth of all shedders of blood and all tyrants and the godless" (Philips, 216).
Philips says that they frightened the people so that no one dared speak against them for fear they would be speaking against the commission and ordination of God. "For we were all guileless children and had no idea that our own brethren would betray us."
Biblical Insight: False prophets are unteachable and unwilling for their prophecies to be evaluated and tested, as Scripture commands. Virtually every time New Testament Scriptures speak of prophecy, they also speak of evaluating and testing the prophecy, which is the responsibility of every believer. I Thessalonians 5:19-21, for example, says, Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is God. I Corinthians 14:29 says, Let two or three prophets speak and let the others judge. And in this same vein of thought, I John 4:1 says, Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
Sign #5
When prophecy becomes a replacement for the Scriptures and common sense
The tragic end of this prophetic movement came when, based on dreams, visions, prophecies, and supposed angelic visitations, a number of these visionaries claimed that God had designated the city of Munster as the New Jerusalem and from there the kingdom of God would spread through all the earth. Philips says, "Some had spoken with God, others with angels—until they got a new trek under way to Munster." Based on the prophecies and supposed visions, they went to Munster and took the city by force from the Catholics who controlled it and renamed it New Jerusalem.
The Catholics, however, quickly regrouped and regained control of the city. They wasted no time in inflicting a terrible slaughter on those apostles, prophets and their followers who believed they were setting up the kingdom of God on the earth.
This whole fiasco resulted in widespread persecution of all Anabaptists who were hunted down, imprisoned, hanged, burned, and drowned. Philips later lamented his role in the extremes of this movement. He wrote,
It is this which is utter grief to my heart and which I will lament before my God as long as I live, before all my companions, as often as I think of them. At the time that I took leave of those brethren, I had warned Menno and Dietrich and declared my [apostolic] commission unlawful and that I was therein deceived. I thank the gracious and merciful God who opened my eyes, humbled my soul, transformed my heart, captured my spirit, and who gave me to know my sins. And when I still think of the resigned suffering which occurred among the brethren, my soul is troubled and terrified before it.
Biblical Insight: In Psalm 119:105 David said, Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. When Jesus was tempted by Satan in the wilderness to doubt His identity, He responded to each temptation with, It is written, and then quoted the appropriate passage of Scripture. John Wesley, who saw many unusual spiritual manifestations as the leader of the 18th-century Methodist revival, said, "Try all things by the written word, and let all bow down before it."
Conclusion
This 16th-century prophetic movement highlights the need to "test the spirits" and to "judge" prophetic utterances according to the Scriptures. For the most part, these were sincere, seeking people who suffered much pain, grief and even death because they neglected this Biblical admonition. May we learn from their example and not repeat their mistakes.

Prophetic Ethics and Protocols by John Paul Jackson and others
Biblical Principles Concerning Ethics and Protocol Relating to New Testament Prophetic Ministry
Editing team: John Paul Jackson, Marc Dupont, Loren Sandford, John Sandford, Jim Goll and Bobby Connor
The Preamble
Within the contemporary church the term, “prophetic ministry,” can mean a great many things. Therefore we have attempted to outline a brief description of biblically based values and practices for New Testament prophetic ministers and prophets. The following are intended primarily for those called to trans-local ministries to the church at large. However, we also acknowledge many of these principles can be applied to individuals whose prophetic work does not extend beyond their local church.
Some persons labeled as “prophets” may be more accurately categorized as “prophetic ministries.” While they may minister to the church at large, they primarily operate within the occasional “charisma” gift of prophecy. Others are called to bear the ministry of a prophet consistently as a primary calling. An established prophet will not only operate in the gift of prophecy, but will carry seasonal prophetic burdens and messages from God the Father to the wider church, and sometimes even to nations. His or her emphasis may be much more “the word of the Lord,” as opposed to “words from the Lord.” They may, at times, even give a prophetic rebuke or warning to the church, which should always be a message of grace, postured within the Father heart of God.
Our heart in preparing and submitting these values is neither to police, nor to correct any known individuals or situations. Rather, we are simply endeavoring to articulate biblical standards that can help ensure long-term fruitfulness both for prophetic ministries and the recipients of those ministries.
Revelation 19:10 states: “The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Therefore, we wholeheartedly believe that the overriding theme, goal and vision of any biblically based New Testament prophetic ministry should be to make known the Person and ways of Christ Jesus. And while a prophetic ministry may often be accompanied by revelatory words, signs and wonders, healings and miracles, a true prophet will always seek to champion the Person of Christ, the gift-giver, more than the gifts.
Because God’s will is for each disciple of Christ to be conformed to the image of Christ, we believe, as well, that God calls those who represent His will, voice, and ways to be living testimonies of Christ-like integrity, lived out within the context of healthy relationships that provide accountability.
The goal of our presentation is Christ-like love and service from a pure heart. We do not present these principles and protocols from an assumed posture of authority or elitism. The spirit in which we present them is two-fold; Firstly, we desire to offer this as an appeal for Christ-centered unity of purpose among current prophetic ministries. Secondly, we wholeheartedly desire to see our colaborers bear witness to who Jesus is in every facet of ministry as they seek to prophetically serve the Body of Christ.
Biblical Principles Concerning Ethics and Protocols Relating to New Testament Prophetic Ministry
I. Concerning Beliefs and Practices
1. The Bible, as the perfect revelation of Jesus and the infallible word of God, is the absolute standard for weighing and assessing all revelation (2Timothy 3:16, Col 2:18-19, John 1:14).
A. While I treasure spiritual experiences from the Holy Spirit, I will not place subjective experiences and discernment above the Bible (Rev 19:10; Col 2:18-19).
B. I will not allow my emotions or pride to rob me of utilizing the Bible as my standard for weighing a revelation and any interpretation I may attach to a revelation.
C. I will always speak a Bible-centric message.
D. I will seek to draw all who hear me toward a greater relationship with the Father through Jesus, and to make the name of Jesus known in a biblical way.
2. God values His Word as the expression of His name and nature (Psalms 138:2). Therefore, we hold truth as a necessity in prophecy.
A. I will always try not only to speak truth, but to speak prophetic words in a way that reflects the loving heart of God.
B. I will determine to always lovingly speak prophetic correction in such a way as to avoid condemnation toward those who receive the prophetic word.
C. I will intend to always communicate hope for change through the transforming power of Jesus.
D. I commit to reflect the nature of my God by loving people more than my gift.
E. Prophecy is a word from God. I will try to speak it with both humility and confidence.
F. While fearing God, I will not fear man. Whenever God directs me to release revelation I will not hold back through fear of man, fear of offending those with whom I am in relationship, or fear of losing popularity and/or opportunities to minister (Galatians 1:10, Proverbs 29:5).
G. I commit to God’s call on my life to proclaim the ways and will of God ahead of the ”success” of my ministry in the eyes of man or the church.
3. I believe that prophetic accuracy is essential. I believe that the method and manner of delivery (the heart) of a prophecy is also important.
A. I understand that voicing words from God is a responsibility not to be taken lightly. I aspire to have 100% accuracy in all I say.
B. I will admit when I am wrong and take steps to acknowledge, repent and make restitution for my error in a prophecy or its delivery, in a manner appropriate to correct the error and the reason for the error.
C. Repentance and restitution must also be appropriate to my sphere of influence and the scope of the prophetic word (Psalms 138:2).
4. If I do give an errant prophecy, I commit to full repentance. This will include:
A. An apology. If I gave the prophecy to a private party, my apology must be to that party. If the prophecy was given to a group such as a church or the public, the apology must be given to that group.
B. Biblical repentance does not mean saying, “I’m sorry” only to God, but also to those I have hurt. Most importantly, I must communicate that I am deeply concerned about the harm I have done or the hurt I have inflicted, and I will do whatever else is needed to help heal the wounds I have caused.
C. With the help of wise counsel, I will seek to find if there is anything in my heart that caused this error, and deal with it through confession, repentance and action.
D. I commit to continuing in accountability to a safe and loving authority whom I believe will support me and help me walk in integrity. I will not remove myself from this process even if painful to me and/or it seems that those to whom I am accountable are not treating me fairly.
E. I believe there are consequences to all actions. If my error is particularly serious or repeated, I will be willing to take time off from prophetic ministry until I and those in authority over me have discerned that I am ready to resume ministry.
5. Concerning supernatural manifestations, I will not substitute the seeking of angels, angelic activity, or other supernatural manifestations, over the seeking of God, His presence, and the truths contained in Scripture. The source of all truth is the Holy Spirit (2 Cor. 11:14; Col 2:18-19).
A. I believe that the character of Christ in me is more important to the Kingdom than my gift. It is the application and manifestation of God’s Word in my life.
B. I will not fall prey to idolatry by seeking to generate, initiate or exaggerate supernatural manifestations, no matter what may be expected by the church culture in which I speak.
C. Likewise, I endeavor to allow the Holy Spirit to initiate how and when He releases supernatural manifestations and/or ministry through me.
D. If God does speak to me through angels, or causes certain manifestations, or gives particular types of revelation, I will communicate what I hear and see only as God directs. I will do so without elevating myself, my experience or revelation in any way that might detract from the Person of God Himself.
6. Understanding a prophetic word is vital to its implementation. Therefore, I commit to being open to discuss, with appropriate leaders within the Body of Christ, the prophetic words I receive and interpretations of those words. I will endeavor to do so because prophetic gifts are given to serve the people, not to promote the one who prophesies.
7. Words from God should encourage, train and equip the Body of Christ to conform to the image of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-16). I will endeavor to always help the Body of Christ perceive the Person of Christ more clearly and to hunger for Him and His ways (Col. 1:8-10, Eph. 1:17-18).
8. Ephesians 4 ministries are to equip the Body of Christ to receive, develop and mature, rather than to cultivate an audience of spectators for our gifting. Thus, we hold in high regard the priesthood of each believer in Christ (1 Peter 2:5; Romans 8:14; Isaiah 61:6).
A. I commit to preaching sound doctrine rather than dividing the Body of Christ through non-scriptural doctrines designed to amaze my audience and develop a following (2Tim 4:3-4).
B. I will not use the gift God has given me in a reckless manner that might cause others to stumble or misunderstand God and His ways (Jer. 23:32).
C. I commit to help Christian leaders and trainers discern between the operation of God-given spiritual gifts and human psychic abilities (Daniel 2:27-28; 4:8-9).
D. I commit to help train the Body of Christ to discern between true, Holy Spiritinspired revelation and mere human intuition, New Age pseudo-spirituality or psychic abilities (1John 4:1).
E. I will intentionally try to communicate revelation and the interpretation of revelation in ways that encourage, strengthen, and comfort the recipient(s) of the word (1 Corinthians 14:3).
F. I will seek to avoid prophesying anything that controls or manipulates the lives of others.
G. When giving a prophetic word, I will seek to always encourage hearers to biblically and prayerfully weigh it rather than to take it without consideration (1 Corinthians 14:29).
9. I commit to help train the Body of Christ to discern between genuine encounters with God and other pseudo-spiritual experiences, as well as to help the Body of Christ understand the various degrees of revelation and their relative levels of importance.
10. I commit to refusing to prostitute the revelatory gifting God has given me by attaching a fee to a prophetic word* (Micah 3:11).
A. I will not use a prophetic word or prophetic ministry to manipulate people to give financially to me, and or the ministry I lead (2 Peter 2:15).
B. I will not lead people to believe that the prophetic word will be triggered or influenced by a gift.
*Accepting honorariums, gifts or travel remuneration is acceptable. This is different than prophesying for an agreed amount of money, and is equivalent to a pastor receiving a salary.
II. Concerning My Life in Representing Christ Jesus Prophetically
1. I commit to living, modeling and championing the character of Christ. I believe Christ-like character to be more important than operating out of gifting (2 Cor. 7:1).
A. I choose to consistently promote and model the ways of Christ more than simply communicate revelation.
B. When it comes to representing Christ Jesus, I believe that I not only have a message, but that I am the message.
2. I believe that wisdom from above is “reasonable and peaceable.” I will place high value on Christ-like humility, and shun prophetic arrogance (James 3:17).
3. I commit to having an accountability group in place to whom I will hold my lifestyle, marriage and ministry accountable.
A. I commit to living a life free of substance abuse, love of money, extra-marital sex, pornography, pride and unforgiveness/bitterness
B. I commit to living out God’s high value of love and covenant emotionally, spiritually and physically with the “spouse of my youth,” to the best of my ability.
C. I will guard my heart and make a covenant with my eyes not to look upon another in a lustful manner.
4. I commit to being free from both the love of money and the love of appearing successful in the eyes of man. I commit to choosing venues to host my ministry, based on the leading of the Holy Spirit as opposed to the size of the crowd or financial remuneration.
5. I commit to being not only a person of prayer and worship but a continual student of the Bible and the ways of God.
6. I commit to honor the Lord by honoring and strengthening His delegated authority in the Body of Christ.
A. I will honor and strengthen local pastors and church leaders as God’s-appointed shepherds and gatekeepers for their local congregations.
B. I will not usurp the authority of the local leadership in the Body where I am called to speak.
7. I commit to perceiving myself as a servant to both the church at large and the local church as God gives me opportunity.
A. I will not view congregations and other ministries as mere platforms, or tools to facilitate my vision and calling.
B. I will not steal another leader’s people or leadership in order to build my ministry.
8. I commit to financial, ethical and moral purity, and will not use the Body of Christ to advance my ministry nor build my own empire. My endeavor is to imitate Jesus’ example of servanthood, and only do as I see the Father doing.
III. The Nature of Authentic Prophetic Ministry
Bible-centric – Bear/bare witness, expose, declare and establish the truth of Scripture.
Salvation-centric – Declare, teach and demonstrate the gospel of the Kingdom of God with signs and wonders following (Mark 16:20).
Jesus-centric – Edify, comfort, encourage and exhort believers and the church in the way to Jesus as well as the way of Jesus.
God-centric – Demonstrate in word, deed and manner the character of the Father: love, righteousness, justice, compassion, mercy, majesty and holiness.
Sovereignty-centric – Bring glory to God alone. His name, His acts, and His Glory are inseparable. He exercises His will through His Omniscience, Omnipotence, Omnipresence, Immutability and Eternality, as He chooses.
